Carla Cohn, DMD
I am a general dentist and have dedicated myself to the care of pediatric patients. In addition to maintaining a private practice, I am a part-time clinical instructor of pediatric dentistry at the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry, a past president of the Manitoba Dental Association, and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. I have been using All-Bond Universal® for such a long time that I can't remember a time when I didn't use it. When I think of BISCO, I think of the science and research that are put into their products, which is what makes All-Bond Universal a leading product in its category. I use All-Bond Universal in many situations in which I need an adhesive, but I mainly use it for bonding direct composite restorations.
1. All-Bond Universal can be used with direct and indirect restorations and is formulated to be compatible with light-, dual-, and self-cured materials. 2. Primary molars isolated with a slot-style rubber dam and prepared for the placement of mesio-occlusal and disto-occlusal adhesive and composite restorations with a matrix and 37% phosphoric acid selective etch technique. 3. Placement of All-Bond Universal adhesive after the selective etch technique, bonding all of the enamel and dentin surfaces to ensure the highest possible bond strength.
Is All-Bond Universal user-friendly?
It's incredibly easy to use. The one-step process requires no mixing and results in reliable bonding.
Is there any postoperative sensitivity?
Postoperative sensitivity has not been an issue with my patients who were restored with All-Bond Universal.
What is the best feature of the product?
It's the reliability of the bond, followed closely by the versatility, which allows for different placement techniques.
