Research into partial extraction therapy has added a useful tool to clinicians' armamentaria to overcome problems associated with resorption of the buccal aspect of the ridge following extraction and implant placement. This case report demonstrates the benefits of partial extraction therapy in ridge preservation for a patient with high esthetic demands.
