IDT Live Digital Dentistry Symposium
Inside Dentistry provides the latest in endodontics, implantology, periodontics, and more, with in-depth articles, expert videos, and top industry insights.
Premier education, the latest technology, and networking with an international crowd of dentists, laboratory professionals, and denturists—Inside Dentistry's sister publication Inside Dental Technology (IDT) is back on the road, in the racing capital of the world, as the IDT Live Digital Dentistry Symposium comes to the JW Marriott Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana, April 12 to 13, 2024.
"We are excited to once again provide a collaborative, education-first environment for all members of restorative and prosthodontic teams to learn from high-level speakers, network with like-minded individuals, and explore the latest products and services in digital dentistry," says Valerie Berger, co-founder of IDT and director, business development—dental for BroadcastMed.
Following this past February's sold-out IDT Roundtable: Digital Dentistry, powered by Carbon, the IDT Live Digital Dentistry Symposium will be IDT's second in-person educational event since the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be built on the foundation of the immensely successful IDT International Digital Denture Symposium, which in September 2019 drew more than 700 attendees from five continents, including from 43 US states and six Canadian provinces.
"We appreciate the importance of bringing together different perspectives from all around the world as well as from different members of the dental team," Berger says. "Through this collaborative approach, we can help advance dentistry."
Hosted by IDT's editor-in-chief, Peter Pizzi, MDT, CDT, the IDT Live Digital Dentistry Symposium will feature a healthy dose of education about digital dentures as well as crown and bridge, implants, and more.
"Digital technology has blurred the lines between fixed and removable, and we believe that today's restorative teams need to be highly educated about the full spectrum of treatment modalities that are available," Berger says.
The event will open with a keynote presentation at 8:00 am on Friday, April 12. Then, after a full day of education, there will be a cocktail reception in the evening. Saturday will feature another morning keynote, followed by a half day of education, and conclude with a luncheon at 12:45 pm. A total of up to 12 CE credits will be available to participants, depending on their course selections for the three breakout sessions (both CE and non-CE options will be available).
Registration will open in October. For more information, including registration and speaker updates, go to idtlive.cdeworld.com.
