NSK has introduced three new products designed for the surgical and implant space, aiming to streamline procedures and improve patient outcomes. These products are the Osseo 100+ Implant Stability Device, the Surgic Pro2 Surgical Micromotor System, and the Perio-Mate Subgingival Air Polisher.
The Osseo 100+ Implant Stability Device is designed to assess the stability of implants, helping clinicians determine the right time for loading implants. This device uses the Implant Stability Quotient (ISQ) value to measure osseointegration, providing critical information for implant placement, especially in high-risk patients or those with shorter treatment times. The device pairs with NSK’s Surgic Pro2 via Bluetooth® for seamless data transfer. The ISQ value can be shared with external terminals, supporting data-driven decision-making during the implant process.
The Surgic Pro2 Surgical Micromotor System enhances surgical precision with a compact and lightweight motor. It features wireless connectivity and a cordless foot control, offering increased mobility and flexibility during procedures. The system also allows for digital monitoring and storage of patient data on external devices. The Surgic Pro2 includes safety features and an intuitive color LCD display with 10 brightness settings for improved visibility. Its high-resolution LED light minimizes heat and offers optimal illumination for surgical sites.
NSK’s Perio-Mate Subgingival Air Polisher provides effective cleaning with the added benefit of preventing peri-implantitis. The air polisher can be used for both supragingival and subgingival cleaning, with adjustable nozzle tips for different clinical needs. The device’s powder flow rate can be adjusted to allow for precise biofilm removal, including around implants and in periodontal pockets, using an ultra-thin nozzle design that reaches difficult areas.
According to NSK, these products are designed to improve the efficiency of surgical procedures and enhance patient care, particularly for those undergoing implant-related treatments.
