Waterpik has announced the launch of its newest product, the Cordless 1100 water flosser. According to the company, the model is designed to offer water flossing benefits at a lower price point while retaining key features such as Waterpik PrecisionPulse™ technology.
The Cordless 1100 is the latest addition to the company’s product line and has earned the American Dental Association (ADA) Seal of Acceptance for safety and effectiveness. According to Waterpik, its cordless models are the only water flossers in the category currently recognized by the ADA.
“At Waterpik, we're committed to providing effective oral care solutions for every lifestyle. The new Waterpik Cordless 1100 combines our trusted cleaning power with a sleek, rechargeable design at an affordable price,” said Dan Cover, Waterpik product marketing director. “Since a dental procedure can cost thousands of dollars, this is one of the best investments you can make to take care of your oral health.”
The product includes two water pressure settings and one Precision Tip, which delivers a combination of water pressure and pulsations designed to remove plaque bacteria from treated areas. According to the company, a laboratory study showed this technology can remove up to 99.9% of plaque bacteria that can contribute to gingivitis, cavities, and bad breath. The device is also described as being up to twice as effective as string floss for improving gum health, based on clinical data.
The Cordless 1100 features a compact, horizontal-fill reservoir, intended to make it easier to use in smaller bathroom spaces. According to Waterpik, the waterproof design and non-slip grip make it suitable for use in the shower.
“Precision is the name of the game when it comes to effective oral care,” said Dr. Chris Strandburg, DDS, an expert spokesperson for Waterpik. “I recommend all my patients use Waterpik products to equip them with the precise tools needed to take control of their oral health.”
The Waterpik Cordless 1100 is now available through Amazon and the company’s website, waterpik.com.
