DentalMonitoring has introduced a new recognition program, the Top Ortho Practice Award, aimed at identifying high-performing orthodontic practices based on standardized, data-driven criteria. According to the company, the award is intended to provide an alternative to traditional recognition programs that often rely on subjective nominations or popularity.
The selection process uses data collected from millions of patient scans and clinical interactions. Metrics considered include patient hygiene, compliance, and overall treatment effectiveness. Benchmarks are standardized and reflect both regional and global performance levels.
Recognized practices will also participate in knowledge-sharing activities. They are expected to serve as mentors, offering insights into their clinical techniques and workflows with the goal of supporting peer collaboration and professional development across the field.
An in-person event, the Top Ortho Practice Exchange, is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas on September 18, 2025, ahead of the OP Summit 2025.
“This initiative is about more than recognition—it’s about raising the bar for what’s possible in orthodontic care,” said Philippe Salah, CEO of DentalMonitoring. “By highlighting data-backed excellence, we’re helping the industry move toward more measurable, scalable impact.”
According to the company, the program is part of its broader efforts to promote evidence-based practices and encourage performance improvements within the orthodontic sector.
