DentScribe.ai has introduced DentScribe GPS (Guided Production System), a new feature within its suite of AI-powered dental tools. The system builds on the earlier DentScribe CoPilot and aims to help dental practices better understand patient needs, manage workflow, and identify treatment opportunities based on the clinical notes dentists record during appointments.
DentScribe GPS uses information from SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes, rather than relying solely on static diagnostic tools like x-rays. By analyzing these AI-interpreted notes, the tool seeks to reflect the clinical judgment of the provider and offer insights into potential treatment plans, urgent care needs, and daily practice operations.
The system features a tablet-optimized interface designed for use during morning meetings and throughout the workday. It organizes information such as patient follow-ups, planned procedures, and performance metrics by urgency, provider, discipline, and financial value to help prioritize daily efforts.
