The American Academy of Robotic and Digital Dentistry (AARDD) will host its inaugural annual meeting September 18-19, 2026, at the Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The two-day event is designed to bring dental professionals together for continuing education, hands-on exposure to emerging technologies, and peer engagement focused on robotic and digital dentistry.
The meeting will offer 11 hours of accredited continuing education covering robotic integration, including Yomi by Neocis, and restorative digital workflows. Programming includes lectures from Dr. Alessandro Pozzi, Dr. Jay Neugarten, and Dr. Drew Johnson, along with interactive opportunities such as a “Try it Room,” where attendees can test and explore technologies demonstrated by vendors.
The schedule begins Friday morning with opening remarks followed by multiple sessions led by Dr. Pozzi on navigating workflows and robotics in digital dentistry. Breaks and a lunch period are scheduled throughout the day, along with access to the interactive demonstration space. The first day concludes with an evening reception. On Saturday, sessions include presentations from Dr. Neugarten on integrating digital workflows for prosthetic implant positioning and Dr. Johnson on patient flow models, followed by adjournment at midday.
AARDD was established to provide a centralized organization for dental professionals interested in robotic-assisted and digital workflows. The organization focuses on promoting collaboration, education, and leadership in integrating emerging technologies into clinical practice. It serves clinicians at various stages of experience, including those new to robotic systems and digital workflows, as well as experienced practitioners seeking continued education and peer engagement.
The academy offers continuing education in robotic systems and digital workflows, including topics such as scanning, printing, and milling. It also provides in-person and virtual training opportunities, along with a network for professional collaboration. While AARDD welcomes participation from manufacturers such as Nobel Biocare and Neocis, it does not endorse specific products.
The annual meeting is positioned as an opportunity for dental professionals to expand their expertise in robotic and digital dentistry while connecting with peers working in similar areas of practice. More information is available at https://www.theaardd.com/.
