Incisive has introduced an online portal designed to help dental practices manage laboratory relationships and access information related to restorative cases.
Dental practices often work with multiple laboratories across different restorative disciplines, each using separate systems for case management, communication, and billing. According to the company, the portal provides a centralized location where practice teams can view case information from multiple laboratories.
The platform allows users to search cases by patient name, laboratory, or status through a single dashboard. It also consolidates invoices, billing history, and equipment-related commitments in one location.
Addison Freeman, CEO and Founder of Incisive, said the launch reflects the company's broader goal of making it easier for practices to get better results. "When a practice has the right labs and the right tools to manage them, patient outcomes improve. The Incisive portal is how practices stay on top of all of it," he said.
Incisive said future development plans for the portal include the use of aggregated data to provide benchmarking information related to turnaround times, remake rates, and case quality. The company stated that these metrics are intended to support practices in evaluating laboratory performance and operational outcomes.
Marcus Singer, VP of Product at Incisive, said the priority was to reduce the administrative load on practice teams. "Practices working with multiple labs are often piecing together information from several different sources. The Incisive portal puts it in one place so they can focus on the best outcomes for their patients," he said.
The portal is currently available to dental practices.
