DEXIS has announced that three of its digital dentistry solutions—DEXIS™ Imprevo™, ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ LX, and the integrated digital workflow of DTX Studio™ Clinic—have each received independent certification from the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS).According to the company, DDS evaluated each solution independently using certification criteria focused on safety, usability, and clinical relevance. The certifications recognize the company's imaging, scanning, and diagnostic technologies.
“This certification achievement reflects the innovation and focus on clinician needs that drives what we do at DEXIS,” said Robert Befidi, president of Diagnostics at Envista. “Recognition from the Digital Dentistry Society underscores our commitment to delivering technologies that help clinicians work more efficiently and confidently. Imprevo, OP 3D LX, and the DTX Studio Clinic workflow each contribute to a seamless digital experience across imaging, scanning, and diagnostics.”
DEXIS said the certified products are designed to function as part of a unified digital workflow. According to the company, OP 3D LX provides 3D imaging for a range of clinical applications, Imprevo is intended for intraoral scanning, and DTX Studio Clinic integrates 2D radiographs, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans, intraoral scans, and clinical images into a single platform to support image capture and treatment planning.
The company stated that the certifications reinforce its focus on providing technologies that simplify clinical workflows and support efficient patient care.
DEXIS is part of the Envista family of brands and provides dental imaging technologies that include 2D and 3D imaging systems, intraoral scanning, and diagnostic software integrated within a connected digital workflow.
