Registration is open for the Chicago Dental Society’s (CDS) 2027 Midwinter Meeting, scheduled for February 25 to 27 at McCormick Place West in Chicago. The meeting will feature educational programming, hands-on learning opportunities, and professional networking events, with information on registration fees, the course program, and Digital Pass pricing available at cds.org/mwm.
The scientific program will include more than 240 courses presented by 149 speakers, approximately 50% of whom are new to the meeting. Educational offerings will include more than 50 workshops, curated learning pathways, and wellness programming addressing health, ergonomics, and career longevity. The scientific program will also include a partnership with The Pankey Institute.
For the first time, CDS will offer a Midwinter Meeting Digital Pass, providing unlimited virtual access to recorded lectures. Digital Pass holders may earn up to 94.5 continuing education credits through eligible on-demand content. The pass will be available as a separate purchase for dental professionals who cannot attend in person. In-person attendees who purchase the Digital Pass may access recorded lectures while participating in workshops and other meeting activities.
“We are always trying to improve the Midwinter Meeting experience to provide attendees and exhibitors with a highly valuable experience,” said Victoria Ursitti, DMD, 2027 CDS president. “I’m super excited to share that we are making even more improvements to this year’s meeting. While last year we focused on enhancing the Exhibit Hall experience, this year we are focused on improving the already excellent scientific program. From a new Midwinter Meeting Digital Pass to new speakers and topics, the 2027 Midwinter Meeting puts the power in the attendee’s hands to build a schedule that advances their career on their terms.”
The Exhibit Hall will retain previously introduced amenities, including Relax and Recharge Lounges, Hadley’s Pet Park, and more accessible food and beverage options. The Early Career Dentist Lounge and Dental Student Lounge will have revised locations and layouts. Additional wellness accommodations will include a Quiet and Prayer Room near the Exhibit Hall and afternoon yoga sessions.
The meeting will also include the Dental Student Reception, Smile and Shine Hygienist Luncheon, and other professional networking activities. The keynote session will feature Olympic figure skating champions and broadcasters Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir. New Dine-Around events will provide additional opportunities for professional interaction at Chicago restaurants.
