PatientGain has announced the launch of ReputeMD, an online reputation management application developed for dentists, physicians, and healthcare clinics. According to the company, the service is designed to automate patient review requests and provide tools for collecting and managing feedback while addressing healthcare privacy requirements.
ReputeMD allows practices to send automated review requests through text messages and email. It also includes an in-office kiosk mode that enables patients to submit feedback using an iPad or tablet at the front desk during checkout.
The platform offers an optional video testimonial feature through PatientGain’s PatientReel service, allowing patients to record testimonials without using their personal mobile devices.
According to PatientGain, ReputeMD does not filter or block negative reviews, providing patients with an equal opportunity to post feedback publicly. An optional internal feedback system can also notify practice managers when patients submit negative ratings. The company states that this approach is intended to comply with Google’s Deceptive Content Guidelines and Federal Trade Commission requirements.
PatientGain describes ReputeMD as a HIPAA-compliant service that incorporates end-to-end encryption, digital authorization tracking, and a signed Business Associate Agreement for each participating practice. These privacy and compliance features are reported by the company.
The service combines human project managers with artificial intelligence agents using a human-in-the-loop approach. According to PatientGain, this model is intended to support review management while reducing the administrative work required of clinical staff.
