This new flavor-free option is designed for patients who want to leave their appointments without any lingering taste, as well as those with allergy concerns of various flavorings. Enamelast fluoride varnish is a xylitol-sweetened 5% sodium fluoride in a resin carrier—which produces a mechanical occlusion of the dentinal tubules in the treatment of tooth hypersensitivity. Enamelast varnish’s unique formula is made with a patented adhesion-promoting agent for enhanced retention, providing superior fluoride release and uptake.
