DEXIS has announced a series of updates across its dental imaging portfolio, including developments in imaging hardware, intraoral scanning, diagnostic software, cloud-based collaboration, education, and services.
According to the company, the NOMAD™ Pro 3 is the latest development in its handheld X-ray product line. DEXIS has also added a Motion Correction feature to its ORTHOPANTOMOGRAPH™ OP 3D™ system. The software-based feature is designed to reduce the effects of patient movement on CBCT images without requiring hardware updates.
For intraoral scanning, the latest version of IS ScanFlow introduces the SEAT Protocol for scanbody-based implant workflows. According to DEXIS, the protocol guides scanning for full-arch and multi-unit restorations. The company has also introduced a slim tip for the DEXIS Imprevo™ intraoral scanner, designed to provide access in tight spaces, posterior regions, and patients with limited opening.
DEXIS has also updated DTX Studio™ Clinic to version 4.10 with an Endodontic Module. When used with CBCT imaging, the module enables clinicians to segment and visualize root canal anatomy in three dimensions before treatment. According to the company, the feature is intended for use by endodontic specialists and general practitioners in evaluating canal anatomy and making procedural and referral decisions.

The company has renamed its IS Connect cloud-based collaboration platform DEXIS IOS Cloud. The platform includes an updated user experience and a new 3Shape laboratory integration intended to provide clinicians and laboratory partners with access to scanning workflows and data.
DEXIS is also introducing Hardware-as-a-Service models that include monthly pricing, built-in protection, and technology upgrade pathways. The company is expanding integrations with Asiga, 3Shape, and SmileGrid as part of its digital workflow connectivity strategy.
In education, DEXIS Academy combines training, on-demand content, workflow-based learning, and opportunities for peer engagement. DEXIS is part of the Envista family of brands and offers technologies encompassing 2D and 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, and diagnostic software.
