WASHINGTON, April 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- In support of the
development of future dental hygiene educators, the American Dental
Education Association (ADEA) presented two dental hygiene students with
the 2013 ADEA/Crest Oral-B Laboratories Scholarship for Dental Hygiene
Students Pursuing Academic Careers at the 2013 ADEA Annual Session &
Exhibition, held March 16-19, in Seattle, Washington.
Ms. Yvonne Aitken of Eastern Washington University and Ms. Brittany
Minichbauer, of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School
of Dentistry, were each awarded $2,000 to pursue education beyond an
associate's degree.

Each year, ADEA presents this award to two dental hygiene students who
are committed to academic careers in dental hygiene.
