CHICAGO, October 24, 2013 — Oral Health America (OHA) is pleased to announce its 24th Annual Gala & Benefit at Chicago's historic Palmer House Hotel on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available. The upcoming event's theme, Smiles Across Generations, will focus on OHA's commitment to oral health for vulnerable populations both young and old. Since 1955, OHA has dedicated its work to connecting communities with resources to increase access to care, education, and advocacy for all Americans. Set before the elegant backdrop of one of Chicago's most beautiful venues, the affair includes a gourmet dinner in the landmark Grand & State Ballrooms and live music. Dinner will be preceded by a cocktail reception featuring networking with key industry leaders in the beautiful Red Lacquer Room. "Oral Health America is excited to celebrate both our history and our programmatic successes," said Beth Truett, President & CEO. "I continue to be amazed by the broad support we receive from the dental community to make sure our programs reach those who need them the most.” Last year, OHA raised $550,000 to support national programming. OHA will also honor Anthony Volpe, a leader in public health dentistry for decades at a separate reception before the gala. The gala and benefit is generously supported by Technology Sponsors Ivoclar Vivadent and Patterson Dental; Diamond Sponsors Henry Schein, Philip Sonicare, and DENTSPLY International; Platinum Sponsors Darby Dental and Midmark and Gold Sponsor Karwoski & Courage. OHA is offering Early Bird pricing on tickets and tables purchased now through December 31, 2013.
