National Dentex Labs (NDX) today announced that Rob Woosley, Senior Vice President of Operations, is the 2022 recipient of the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL) Hall of Fame Award for his contributions to the dental laboratory profession. Woosley has been with NDX for nearly a decade, starting out as an Executive Director of Operations before stepping into his current role.
“NADL has a long history of honoring outstanding individuals who have done great things for the dental laboratory profession,” said Tom Daulton, Chief Executive Officer of NDX. “Rob absolutely exemplifies the traits they recognize in award recipients and we’re thrilled to see his hard work and dedication celebrated with this well-deserved honor.”
Woosley has established his leadership in the dental technology industry over nearly four decades. He is a 30-year Certified Dental Technician (CDT), who began his journey interning with the Dental Professional Laboratory in Merrillville, Indiana, as a removable technician. Quickly, Woosley rose through the ranks, working for several private practice prosthodontists and both large and small dental labs prior to joining NDX. Throughout his career, Woosley has looked to develop a culture within the dental lab emphasizing the critical part they play in patient care. Additionally, Woosley has served on governing bodies and committees such as the National Association of Dental Laboratories, the Florida Dental Laboratory Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the JDT Advisory Committee.
Every year, NADL members are invited to nominate a person, laboratory or company to be recognized for their accomplishments, with winners selected by the NADL Awards Committee. Woosley’s Hall of Fame award was presented on January 21, 2022, at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as part of the organization’s “Vision 21” event. The Hall of Fame Award is presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the dental laboratory profession.
